Chatham-Kent Home Builders Association is a mark of distinction which identifies the company as an industry professional. CKHBA represents over 95 members comprised of the residential construction industry in Chatham-Kent. With membership in our local association, members also benefit from membership in the Ontario Home Builders™ Association (OHBA) and the Canadian Home Builders™ Association (CHBA).

Advocacy
CKHBA actively participates through a number of municipal liaison committees organized to represent the interests of the Association related to building and development issues within our region. CKHBA also coordinates its advocacy efforts with CHBA, OHBA and other Home Builders™ Associations. Monthly reports are provided to members through a newsletter entitled Advocacy in Action.

CKHBA™’s over 95 member companies are comprised of Builders, Developers, Renovators, Financial Specialists, Manufacturers, Service Professionals, Suppliers, & Trade Contractors.
CKHBA is actively involved in the communities where our members and their customers live, work and play. Through ongoing representation to municipal and regional government, media relations and consumer education, we address important issues head on and have a strong presence that benefits members and contributes to housing affordability and the well-being of communities within our region and across Canada.
CKHBA encourages innovations and excellence in the planning and building of sustainable communities and in the redevelopment and renovation of existing communities. We work to encourage government at all levels to establish fair and effective policies that impact the building and development industry and its customers.
We regularly facilitate discussions between the industry and the federal, provincial, regional and local governments with respect to issues that affect development, building, and home ownership in the Chatham-Kent Region.
